My name is Oksana Latynina and I’m a ballet and ballroom dance instructor, coach and choreographer.
I’ve been dancing ever since I can remember and went on to make it my professional career by graduating from an 8 year Ballet program at the National Academy of Choreography in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The world of dance is vast and interconnected, with the classic ballet technique laying the aesthetic base for all other dance types from folk, to ballroom, to modern.
Having over 25 years of experience teaching dancers of all ages and skill levels, I go on guiding my students through understanding and developing the possibilities of their bodies every day.
As science advances and more information about the body’s biomechanics becomes available, I continue expanding my theoretical and practical knowledge, and implementing it with my dancers.
Movement has always meant life and been a part of mine in different forms— my husband is a gymnastics coach and both of our sons are dancers. Teaching my students the diverse ways of movement through dance is just another figure in the dance of my own life.
